The story begins in the mid-19th century, when the Marcucci family operated a grocery store and postal station at this very site. By the 1950s, their vision evolved into the elegant structure that stands today a sanctuary shaped by warm hospitality and the natural gifts of its surroundings. By the 1970s, the structure had become a beloved thermal spa retreat, attracting guest with its healing atmosphere rooted in nature and surrounded by a dreamlike Tuscan landscape.

In 2016, the Marcucci family entrusted the House to the Costa family a natural passing of the torch between two families united by a shared philosophy of mindful hospitality.
