The first recorded mention of the Florentine Ghirlandaio family dates from the late 14^th century, a family of painters known as “del Ghirlandaio”, Domenico, the progenitor, and favorite artist of Lorenzo the Magnificent, in whose workshop trained a young Michelangelo and Ridolfo.

Today all this wonder has come back to life in the version of an elegant estate, where the relationship between nature and emotion offers guests a stay of total relaxation.

The rooms were designed according to the refined Florentine architecture and with the most modern comforts. The organic Gardens, changing each season and savoring the first fruits, enrich the excellent cuisine of the Locanda.

The property was perfectly recovered by the Cecchi family starting in 2010. For 8 years and with the precise desire to inaugurate a new Renaissance, consecrating the entire estate in the wake of the best Tuscan tradition.

The interiors open one into the other, moved by coffered ceilings, floors in fine parquet, Bardiglio stone and white marble; pastel colors on the walls embellished with trompe-l’oeil, antique furniture, fabrics and precious furnishings. In short, the best of the unmistakable Florentine taste!

The Villa from its location on the hillside offer a splendid panorama over the valley framing a spectacular view of the city of Florence and its most important monuments can easily be identified.

The basements have original stone walls and vaults and host the SPA, where you can embark on a wellness program that ends in the 120 sqm swimming pool, surrounded by a soft lawn and shaded by olive and fruit trees.
